The #OLOlivePants have sizes A through T.
There may be quite a few questions about size selection so I’m making it into a stand alone post.
Remember a starting size is just a best guess, it will be refined in fitting.
Selecting a size
Record the letter you have selected on the project worksheet.
This is all too much effort, give me the Cliff Notes version
In underwear, measure yourself where the rear end has the most projection (as above). Have the tape measure be parallel to the floor. Please don’t over think this, this is not pattern drafting, it is fitting.
This is your “hip” measurement, if you are between sizes choose the smaller one.

Preparing the pattern
I want to try your TDCO method but I have saddlebag or jodhpur thighs that stick out from my hips and the measurement at that location is larger than the largest rear projection of my hip measure . So which should I base my pattern size on?
Is there a worksheet specific to the Freemantle Pants? Thanks.
